The cabin or pollen filter is designed to filter out dust, pollen and other particles that would normally make their way into your vehicle through the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Pollen filters work very well, but need to be replaced as part of a scheduled maintenance program. Restricted and dirty pollen filters put a strain on the blower motor, which can cause it to be excessively noisy and even fail prematurely. This kind of strain on a blower motor can also cause problems with the vehicle wiring and electrical system, due to the excessive amperage required for the blower motor to function. Power Steering Service
Drain all contaminated power steering fluid from the power steering system. Replace with new manufacturer-recommended power steering fluid. Test drive vehicle and bleed air from the power steering system. Check fluid level after test drive and top off if necessary.
Power steering fluid can become dirty and contaminated under normal driving conditions, and should be replaced with new fluid as part of a preventive maintenance program. Wiper Blade Replacement
Remove the wiper blade inserts from the wiper arms following the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions (found in the owner’s guide). Install new wiper blade inserts onto the wiper arms. Thoroughly clean the windshield.

Some coolant may be in such poor condition that a coolant flush is necessary to remove the corrosion and deposits that were created in the engine and the radiator. If so, an approved coolant removal and cycling machine is required for this procedure. Our trained technician will connect the vehicle to a state-of-the-art machine and add a cleaner to safely remove rust, sludge and scale deposits. Once the system has been cleaned, the technician will install a new coolant-and-water mix, along with a conditioner to protect the cooling system. Once this is finished, the engine will be allowed to run until it reaches normal operating temperature and then the fluid will be checked and adjusted if necessary.
The engine’s coolant pulls the heat from the engine and then dissipates the heat when it enters the radiator. The engine’s cooling system is a complex system comprised of many components and materials. The most common materials used are aluminum, plastic, copper, brass, rubber, and steel. The engine coolant must be compatible with all of them. The engine coolant is designed to transfer heat, stop corrosion, and provide a lubricant for the water pump seal. Old antifreeze can become acidic. The combination of acidic fluid and the dissimilar alloys in the cooling system actually creates a crude battery. This condition can cause accelerated corrosion of these materials. Changing the coolant according to a preventative maintenance schedule will prevent this acidic condition, and help prevent corrosion, and expensive future repairs.

Fuel Filter Replacement
Depressurize the fuel system. Remove the fuel filter retaining straps and disconnect the fuel feed and supply lines. Install a factory-approved replacement filter, and then reinstall the retaining components. Check for signs of damage to the fuel lines or connections.
Fuel filters play a crucial role in your engine’s performance. If the filter becomes restricted, the engine will starve for fuel and not perform properly. Damaged fuel filters can allow debris to flow through the lines and clog the pressure regulator and fuel injectors. Fuel filters have a life expectancy of about five years. Carefully lift the vehicle on an approved automotive vehicle lift. Adjust the air pressure in all of the tires. Visually inspect the general condition of the tires. Remove all of the wheels. Reinstall the wheels on the vehicle in accordance with manufacture’s rotation pattern, and then torque the wheel lugs to secure wheels to vehicle following the recommended torque procedures.
